When a stick of gum falls beneath the bleachers, it winds up in the mysterious land of Grandstandia. There, it must summon its courage if it hopes to defeat an evil overlord.
Created for the 2018 Ghost City Comics 5×5 Fest, entrants were given a prop, a setting, and a line of dialogue, and had to create a 5-page story from scratch in just 5 days. Chewed Up was chosen as one of 10 finalists.
