WES LOCHER: He looks vaguely like that one guy you know, but he’s not him.

I’m Wes Locher (pronounced “Low-Curr” by non-telemarketers).

I’ve written and contributed to video games such as MODERN COMMUNITY (Magic Tavern, 2024), CRADLE OF MAYA (Awem Games, 2024), the smash hit mobile game PROJECT MAKEOVER (Magic Tavern, 2020), BUNCH OF BULLETS (Gyre Rig, 2022), CRADLE OF EMPIRES (Awem Games, 2019), TRUCHANGE (TALES, 2018), POST-WAR DREAMS (PulseTense Games, 2019), RE*SEQUENCED (Based on the Play, 2018), LOST IN FAME (Nanobit Software, 2017), and FUTURE: UNCERTAIN (Pocket Gems Games, 2015), as well as served as a content director for the Pocket Gems titles CLUELESS: SCHOOL’S OUT (based on the movie, licensed by Paramount Pictures), PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (based on the hit TV show/licensed by Warner Brothers), MEAN GIRLS: SORORITY RUSH and MEAN GIRLS: SENIOR YEAR (based on the 2004 movie/licensed by Paramount).

I’ve written books including young readers titles for Penguin Random House such as TIME FOR KIDS: 300 FANTASTIC FACTS!: SPACE and multiple entries in the New York Times bestselling WHO HQ series, including WHAT IS AI?, WHO IS “WEIRD AL” YANKOVIC and WHERE IS TORNADO ALLEY? I also authored the two-book nonfiction series, BRAVING BRITANNIA (2020, 2018), which chronicles the cultural impact of the MMO Ultima Online, featured by Wired, Gamasutra, VentureBeat, and the TED Talks podcast Far Flung.
