Unit 44 was promoted to an ongoing series at Alterna Comics! The sci-fi/comedy returned in 2022 with 4 new issues, along with a new art team and new format! From issue 5 on, each issue sees the bumbling Area 51 agents undertaking a brand new case file as they explore the supernatural and bizarre!
Issue #9: ONE HELL OF A MESS
Gibson and Hatch are dead. RIP. After being killed by a grim reaper, Gibson and Hatch find themselves condemned to perpetual torture in Hell. However, after having had enough of flaying, stabbing, and the general unpleasantness, Hatch has concocted an escape plan that’s just crazy enough to work, and together, the agents will attempt to escape the afterlife. Or they’ll die trying… again.
Issue #10: HOWL AT THE MOON
On the night of a full moon, inept Area 51 agents Gibson and Hatch are sent to investigate a werewolf sighting. But as the agents meet a group of suspicious locals, the question isn’t WHERE is the werewolf, but rather, WHOM?
